At SeaLead, we aim to provide easy and flexible solutions to improve trade across countries, companies and people. We specialise in container shipping and liner services that facilitate the movement of goods in and between emerging markets and major economies.
We initially started by purchasing slots on various main liner operator and feeder services to respond to the demand from NVOCC customers. Since then, we have evolved from a one-vessel operation into a globally-recognised business with a modern fleet, equipped with the latest technologies.
Job Purpose
To boost SeaLead’s reputation and brand globally by ensuring a proactive approach to Marketing and PR.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
· Develop marketing plans including strategy, goals, budget and tactics
· Work closely with the sales/commercial team to identify target markets, create marketing materials, and execute marketing campaigns
· Responsible for SeaLead content on website and Intranet, including Chinese
· Enhance and maintain corporate presentation and support countries to ensure corporate identity
· Build content pipeline and related activities (eg events) for SeaLead across key markets
· Managing the company’s social media and digital marketing efforts
· Build and track KPIs on a regular basis and present reports
· Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors
· Develop and execute a plan for agencies to have updated marketing materials
· Responsible for SeaLead branding, consistency and implementation across SeaLead network
· Manage and execute participation at fairs and exhibitions and customer events
· Create plan, budget and execute possible CSR
· Manage media subscriptions for SeaLead globally
· Organise customer giveaways to boost SeaLead’s brand awareness
· Design seasonal greeting/e-cards for major holidays
Background and experience
· Strong marketing experience and preferably with Shipping background
· Experience in writing articles
· Prior experience in online content management
· Event Management Experience
Competencies and skills
· Good computer skills (Excel, PPT, Project)
· Photoshop Skills
· Excellent presentation ability
· Very “social” person, self-starter, comfortable working with leadership and all levels, eye for detail
· International mindset
· Open for possible travels
· Works independently
Education requirements
Graduate-level education, 5+ year’s experience in a related marketing role
Language requirements
· English – Fluent (required) and Mandarin
